At JBD Catholics, faith formation is a lifelong journey of growing closer to Jesus Christ through prayer, learning, service, and participation in the life of the Church. Whether you are exploring the Catholic faith for the first time, preparing to receive a sacrament, or seeking to deepen your relationship with God, we invite you to join us.

Our Faith Formation ministry exists to:

  • Form disciples who know, love, and serve God.
  • Support families as the primary educators of the faith.
  • Prepare children, youth, and adults to receive the sacraments.
  • Foster a lifelong commitment to prayer, worship, and service.

1st Communion/ Primera Comunion

  •  One year of Faith Formation REQUIRED prior to entering into the First Communion Program. Un ano de formacion de fe ES REQUERIDO antes de entrar en el programa de primera comunion.


Confirmation / Confirmacion

To enter into the confirmation program, you are REQUIRED to have ...

  • 2 years of continous formation / 2 anos de formacion continua
  • minimum 30 hours of service / minimo 30 horas de servico
  • attend a retreat / asistieron a un retiro
